Today, Zoo Rimba Razia is one of the most popular zoo in Terengganu, and in fact throughout Malaysia’s East Coast. It features over 100 species and has become a place that must be visited by families and animal enthusiasts alike.
Zoo Rimba Razia’s journey started from the core passion to serve animals and nature. Led by his passion for animals and plants, Dato’ Seri Zakaria bin Abdul Razak started with goat breeding and deer breeding way back in 2017. Because of his passion and commitment, what is now considered to be one of the opening of Rimba Razia.
Officially opened on July 15, 2023, Rimba Razia Zoo provides an exclusive experience for visitors with a petting zoo theme. In the top-of-the-line petting zoo that Terengganu can be proud of, there are opportunities to have up-close encounters in terms of feeding cute goats and deer, cradling turtles and snakes, horse riding, petting a variety of cat species, and close encounters with various other wonderful petting zoo creatures. All activities are overseen by staff who are experienced and skilled to ensure a safe, informative, and fun visit for all.
By visiting this zoo, visitors will be able to see a wide variety of animals not only from Malaysia, but also from all over the world. Dato’ Seri Haji Zakaria’s dedication to bringing in various species of animals is not only driven by his passion and hobby, but also by his desire to encourage visitors to learn more about the different species of animals found across the globe.
